A squirrel chewed up some wires under the hood Sign In

Hello, I'm brand new here, and I was hoping to get a little help with a very crappy problem.

It's a 2005 Ford Explorer V6. I'm just trying to find out what the damage is and which parts need replacing. Thanks!

Wow, that little guy ate the wiring harness for the throttle body motor and the engine coolant temperature sensor. Might need to run to a pick and pull and see if you can get the harness. Then you can do some splicing.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Hey thanks a lot for taking the time to reply. It might not seem like much to you but you've been very helpful. I had no idea squirrels could be such a menace haha.

I've seen rodent do a lot of damage to wiring but I've never seen one totally devour the harness. They like the plastic but where did the metal go?
