1999
Buick
Regal GS
3.8 v6
~120,000

So i was sitting in my care at lunch with the AC on as it is hot out and all of a sudden the temperature gauge went all the way to hot and smoke was coming from the hood. So I opened it and looked and anti freeze was all over the engine and ground. I took some videos. Prior to this i had the oil changed about a month ago, the guy at NTB told me i should probably get my coolant system flushed or keep coolant in the car, which of course I did. Any idea what could be wrong? I have some videos if anyone wants to see

The first thing you need to do is shut the damn engine off and don't run it again until you find your problem if you don't want to be buying an engine.

You need to fill the cooling system and then have it pressure tested to find the leak.

Yes, that would be on the belt tensioner. They go all the time.
