85 capri, stalls	Sign In

Hi, just found this site. I'm working on a 85 merc capri with a 3.8 tbi engine. It will run rough & stall sometimes, usually at stop signs etc. At cruising speeds its fine. I've disconnected the egr & no difference. I'm wondering if it may be the ign module, mtd to the distributer. The idle motor is a plunger style mtd on the side of the tbi........Thanks for any help
