215,000 miles rebuilt 3,000 miles ago
After driving 15 minutes I hear warning chimes, then engine stalls. Engine will not restart until after another 10 or 15 minutes, then the cycle repeats.
When sitting idle and I apply the accelerator, engine reaches about 4,000 rpms, engine rev's up and down not going more than 4,500 rpms.
I have replaced the battery, the fuel filter and the camshaft sensor. This engine was rebuilt 3,000 miles ago.
What other components can I check or replace to correct this issue?
Check engine light is not on, the Theft light is not on. Car is not running hot and the cooling fans are working.
