1996 Lancer Engine stutters when accelerating

Car make: Mistubishi Lancer 1996
engine: 1.6 liter model 4G92
Problem: engine stutters when accelerating and then levels out. Problem increases when the engine is warm (normal warm). When idle runs ok.
Checked already: plugs were changed, and the old ones seem fine (no oil deposits and no signs of overheat). Air input system intact.
Throttle seems to be clean.
Would appreciate advice what to check next. Thanks

Code readings needed even if a light isn't lit something is probably on standby to help you find the circuit with the problem. Post code #s found not a conclusion of what might be found,
