Hey

I have a Toyota Town ace Master ace surf 4wd year of manufature is 1987
engine size 2.0 cc Diesel consumption turbo charged

I want to change the old engine and replace it with another engine. Based on the research I've done it uses a 2C-T engine. This engine is not readily available where I am based. I am based in Nairobi Kenya.

I would like to know if I can replace the engine with a 3C-T engine used in a Toyota town ace CR38. Also give recommendations for other engines that would work well with this vehicle if the 3C-T will not work

I will be grateful for any advise I will get

? Can't know what will be available to you both that this car/vehicle is not sold to the US and is an 1987! Is this a wish to change it or existing engine just too far gone? If so what is available to rebuild what you have back to original specifications? You may need a good history on this and help from Toyota with info hopefully still found on what they made for which destinations which vary greatly.

This is going to be a hunt and search or if inoperably going bad on you possible you need a much more current version of what you want for all service and repair needs,

Yes the engine is too far gone that is why I want to change it. I will try Toyota and see how they can help. Thanks for the advice
