emission lite on a 87 f150 4x4 stays on

why does the motor on my 1987 f150 runs ruff like it has a miss since the emission lght can on/ it runs fine til the motor warms up/ i have changed plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap & rotor.

Give us a bit more info on what engine you have ,MFI ? carb ?.
Normally when you emission light comes on you have a fault in the emission
system ,and have to get the codes read to find out what faults you have,
and this is most probably your drivability problem.
