What does quad driver no. 2 control? Sign In

I have a 1997 Isuzu Hombre, 2.2 liter, with 275,000 miles on the chassis, and about 30,000 on the rebuilt engine. The truck runs fine, but the ABS light has been on for some time so I finally broke down and bought an Innova 3120d so that maybe I could find out what the problem is. When I run a scan I don't see anything specific to the ABS system, but I have the following codes showing: 21,25,27,35,36,37,and 65. I can probably deal with the other codes and figure them out, but I can't figure out where to start on the 27 code. What does that control? Or is it just a symptom of the other codes present?

These code should be starting with C. Such as C0021, C0025, etc. Is that correct?

C0027 is a LF wheel speed sensor code. In fact all those codes except for the C0065 deal with speed sensor circuits. C0065 is a pump motor circuit issue.

How did you come up with quad driver #2? Is there a code for that?

Where to start? Do a good visual inspection of the ABS system including wiring, harnesses, connectors, sensor, etc. Then connect your scan tool and monitor data stream information for the ABS system, if your tool allows that. Monitor your wheel speed PIDs and see if they are working.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

These codes come up when I access the ABS codes. At the time of this post it was a 37. Nothing preceding it. I looked it up on the Innova DTC library. So I'm probably getting some bad info from Innova's library?
Since this post I replaced the control module for the abs system,(The one attached to the abs manifold.), and the 65 went away. Also the 36, 35, and 27 went away.
Unfortunately I can't stream data. I'll have to spend a lot more money to get a proper scanner for that.

Quote from a duplicate thread on same car now locked said........
" I have a '97 Isuzu Hombre, 2.2 liter. I have 4 codes showing up as ABS codes although the definitions have to do with engine sensor issues. The main thing that I would like to know is; What do the various Quad Drivers operate. Also, if I could get some more specific help with the other codes it would be greatly appreciated.

37: Accelerator position sensor 1 and 2 incorrect correlation.
25: Manifold air temp. sensor or intake air temp. high.
22: Throttle position sensor signal voltage is low.
26: Quad driver module or quad driver no. 1 error.

I tested the sensor that is located in the air intake duct ahead of the MAF sensor. It was out of range so I replaced it, but the code remains after others have come off. I may need to drive longer.
I'm not really sure what to do about the code 37, so that and the code 26 are what I really need info on. "
