Saturn L300 2004 v6 randomly won't start
I have same type of issues with same make & model car except when it's running with cruise control on randomly the engine rpm goes crazy and over revs like I'm trying to floor it but I'm not it's done it a few times but I had mechanic check it out and he said it never did it to him & no DTC came up when he checked or engine light has never came on. Now after months of not driving it because I live 15 miles from everything and don't want to be stranded after I shut car off and then it won't start back up I used an obd scan tool & everything shows ok except DTC p0700. What is the problem?

The P0700 means you have a transmission issue and more specific codes will be available from the TCM but you will need a professional scan tool to access those.
The symptoms sound like the transmission is kicking out of gear.
