302 Code Sign In

I have a 99 hyundia accent 4cy. It is showing a 302 code when driving. It will idle all day with no problem. but when driving it will flash, come on and usually by the time to get stopped again it will clear itself. I replaced the coil pack, replaced the plugs and wires, and switched the injector to the #1 cylinder. nothing helped, still does the same. Any ideas?

Sounds like you need to check compression next.

If injector is fairly easy to remove, swap it to see if the miss moves.

He already tried that Tom

You also want to check the injector pulse with a noid light in case there's a wiring or PCM problem

Re: 302 Code Sign In

I will try the compression next. I can get it to miss when I am not driving. hard to check the wiring. I may try running wires from it to the inside of the car. Thanks.
