Vehicle is a 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography 33K miles, Supercharged V8 5L, no CEL but my reader shows U0449.

Can someone explain this code to me? Potential fixes? Any info at all?
"Invalid Data Received from Gateway C" on Code Reader

I did the transmission memory reset where you hold down the pedal without turning it on, may be related, didn't see the code before then.

Any help at all is appreciated, can't even find info on this code online, just generic obd2 code interpretations.

That is a communication code. All the modules communicate with each other on a network. The code is telling you there is a problem communicating with at least one module. This can be one bad module or something wrong with the wiring that connects them all together.

The first step is to use a dealer level scan tool capable of communication with all modules to determine if there is one particular module not communicating.

Being a late model Land Rover, there could be as many as 60 different modules on the network. This is not a simple problem to resolve.

Just look at where it plugs in for wiring damage, right there. Corrosion would be a no-no.

It's a bit new for a problem check the easy stuff first perhaps physical damage there?
