2006 Dodge Ram 1500

code 441 and code 300, rough idle and rough acceleration. what could be the cause, not sure of the engine size at the moment. It is my husbands truck but I know it is a V-8, has about 75,000 miles (maybe more).

The P0300 is a random misfire code. Possibly aa tune up is in order. The P0441 is the Evaporative Purge valve is not working properly. Check all connections and erase codes to see if the P0441 will come back.
