1992 Toyota 4Runner Self test

As the title says i have a 92' toyota 4runner, with a v6 3.0 3VZ engine, and if possible i wanted to know how to do a self test to detect possible problems and errors within the various systems of the engine. Thanks

Not quite sure what your asking, but if you mean check for stored trouble codes in the ECU, you can do that. Jumper TE1 to E1 in the diagnostic connector under the hood and turn the ignition on. The ECU will flash the check engine light the trouble codes that are stored. Trouble codes are two digit.
