i recently replaced the timing chain cover on my 2006 pontiac montana after getting it all back together and test driving it i noticed the speedometer is not working.i can't find any other electrical issues and was wondering if there is something i could have disconnected during the process that could account for this issue

Are there any trouble codes stored in the engine controller? Did you unplug the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) when you did your timing cover repair?

The VSS is just to the left of where you were working and you may have unplugged it to get that harness out of your way.
