I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado with a 4.3 motor. I'm getting a misfire code on my #2 cylinder, running rough and will not fire on #2. I have good spark to my plug and was told to check the ohms going to my injectors to see if I have a bad one. They said pull off the injector modular cap and I'll see 12 pins inside my spider injector assembly, they want me to check the ohms going to each injector wire. I see 12 pins inside the spider injector assembly but I don't know what pins go to my #2 cylinder. Can someone help me out on which pins go to what cylinder injector? Is there a diagram online that will show me what pins are for each cylinder? Thank you...

some thoughts - while I try to get a diagram to post... my memory is fuzzy here.. there are no P020x codes? looking between the 2 pins for each inj isn't there a #? ... Quickly ohm them all - if bad it will ID itself... 11–14 Ω . lowest to highest within 3 Ω

I don't know what code came up, my friend put his scammer on and it showed all 5 cylinder firing fine except the #2 cylinder, it has a real bad constant miss. I haven't pulled the injector assembly cap off yet to check if there are any markings. I thought if I found a diagram it would show me exactly which pins I'm looking for. I believe the guy told me that the hot pin may be on one side and the ground pin may be on the other, they're not always right next to each other, does that make sense? If it is a bad injector I plan on buying a new spider assembly and putting it in.

Thanks this should help, I never thought about looking for a harness
connector diagram. I was looking at the top of the spider assembly
itself with the pins in it, I guess I can get a ohms reading going to
the #2 injector by touching "G" and the next pin right in front of it?

That part is going to be a little tricky. It's easy to identify the signal wire from that injector but the adjoining wire will be pink as all 6 are. They came from one central power supply and then separated to other injectors so you may have to experiment to figure which power feed is connected to that injector. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I feel a need to mention - ohm testing is not the confirm all test for an injector issue. And injector issues are not the only suspects for p030x codes. Let us know results and we can advise. BEFORE spending $$

I took the ohm reading on the top of the spider assembly pins to make sure I had no electrical problem going down to my injectors. All the spider wires had the same reading so I know there's power going to the injectors. I also checked the the harness assembly to make sure the computer was sending power to the spider, everyone flashed just like they should. I pulled the wire on #2 cylinder and started the truck, has a slight miss, put the wire back on and still had a slight miss. Then I pulled the wire on #4 cylinder, had a real bad miss. I have a feeling #2 isn't getting enough fuel so I'm going to try an run some injector cleaner through it. I can't remember what it's called but you hook the can right to the fuel rail, disconnect the fuel pump fuse, then start the truck and let the cleaner run through all the injectors. Not sure if it will work or not but just trying to cover all my bases before I replace the spider assembly. I'll keep you posted, any other things you think I should troubleshoot just let me know, thanks....

sounds like a good plan - a serious cleaning as opposed to adding something to tank. Do not forget to check compression at cylinders before spending.
