2004 lincon navigator interior light's won't go out, drains batt. Light switch is in the off position. Door ajar is illuminated on dash display.All doos closed. What should I be looking for to solve this mystory?

A good possibility is a door switch sticking. Spray lubricant (WD-40---PB Blaster) into the door latches and open and close each one a few times. When you get to the bad switch, the lubricant will free it up and the lights will go out.
