I purchased a new 2017 Honda Civic LX. At the dealer, we connected my cell phone to the car. Since then I could only connect them once only when I added my phone as a new device. So, I have my cell phone appearing twice in the list. When I try to connect to the first one, nothing happens, but trying the second one, sometimes I get the pairing code on my phone but finally also get the failure messages both on my phone and on the car monitor. What can I do to 1) delete the repeated entry in the list, and 2) to connect the phone to the car? Thanks.

Your problem isn't really "automotive" as much as techno compatibility. I'm no "geek" just battle like the rest of folks with assorted crap that is or isn't compatible then learn if something like that is a one time thing setting or lock that in like "remember me" stuff. Wish you luck and think somewhere between the dealer's info on the car's abilities and your device. It's too new. Car may need to be set to allow anything and might be in some kind of "demo" mode a dealer should unlock it so???? T
