I need to replace the wiper switch in my 1986 Chevy truck. The switch is a combination signal light/bright/wiper unit. I tried to get one from the auto wreckers, but the switch is extremely hard to remove. I saw some slightly older Chevy trucks with dash mounted switches. couldn't I just use one of those? The wiper motors on the older trucks are the same as my truck.

You already have a question open on this problem that you never even responded to. Use that question if you want to continue this discussion.
