Hello all, i recently changed my girlfriends breaks and now when I hit the breaks the rear lights don`t come on during the day and at night they don`t get brighter. It could have been going on before I changed them but its a big coincidence. Can anyone point me in the right direction as this can be danderous for my girlfriend while she drives. She has a 2000 Dodge Neon, standard. Many thanks ! Jon

There should be a switch at the brake pedal that could have pulled a wire as some Fords do and can't say for the Neon. It still has to have a switch. Chase power (12V) from there, guessing a good fuse, and it should (switch) have power all the time on one side and just transmit power to brake lights on the other side when pedal is pushed. If that all checks out then test for power at the bulb sockets. If not there there must be a break in the wire to the back, T
