alternator will hum slightly Sign In
with a new alternator installed in my 94 cavalier the alternator will emit a slight hum with the key turned. but the car does not turn over is it possible the belt is too tight will a spring loaded tensioner go back to the the good position or must it be adjusted to some point along its potential movement path
