CoolI'm trying to replace a damaged O2 (female) CONNECTOR at the end of the vehicle harness, which once replaced would in turn will plug into the square 4 terminal O2 (male) sensor socket.
The problem is the harness has 1-black wire, 1-red wire, 1 dark brown wire, & 1-tan wire.
The new (female) O2 sensor acdelco part # PT1069 CONNECTOR has 4-wires all gray as leads to be attached to the 4 different colors of the harness.

How do i match them up? Any help is appreciated ***

Don't you just love the GM pigtails? All you need to do is orient the new connector next to the old connector and position the wires accordingly. I may also suggest NOT using the butt splice connectors that come with the pigtail. I always solder the wires and put shrink wrap over the splice. The butt connectors always corrode and cause problems down the road.

CoolThanks for quik reply!

However the OLD female connector & wires were damaged beyond recognition, the insulation even inside the connector was stripped only leaving bare wires in each of the 4 wire internal socket (female).

Also, the male connector which is attached to the O2 sensor is okay although those 4 wires are all different colors
than the original harness, so I'M unable to match wires in this manner.

yes this is wild of GM ?
