I recently moved to a new city, and I'm trying to find a good mechanic that I can take my truck to if there is a problem. I have a 2007 Ford F150, 4.2L XL. I went to a mechanic to get my state inspection done, and he said his computer could not form a connection with my engine diagnostic computer. I left the truck at the shop, and he replaced a connector for $150, including labor. He pointed to the fuse box, near the passenger door, as containing the part that he replaced. Does this sound legitimate? Thank you.
