Power not working all the time Sign In

My girlfriend has a 97 s10 blazer. The problem with it is the power goes out meaning like the battery acts dead. I know the battery is not dead since i t was bought brand new last week. some times I can start the blazer and sometimes there is no power to even turn on the radio. I hope some one has some ideas that I can check on. Thank you.

Make sure the battery terminals are tightened properly; you shouldn’t be able the twist the terminals by hand. After that you’re going to have to start at the battery and work towards and through the power distribution center until you find the bad connection or open in the circuit. Same goes for the ground side of the system.

These also had a problem with ignition switches. Might be another place to look.
