Hello Experts,
I am driving a 1999 Pontiac Trans Sport (with one sliding door). The power window of both doors (driver and passenger side) is working fine with the switch in the driver side only. The switch in the passenger side door is not working (neither UP nor DOWN). After few hours testing, I found that the +12V is not there. (it was verified that the window worked with a jumper wire to temporarily supply +12V).
I want to trace the wiring backward from the Window Switch Front Passenger at pin F to the 12V supply (thru 30A PWR WDO Circuit Breaker). My problem is I do not know where the locations of interconnect connectors are. (e.g. A8 - C200 or A6 - C304). All of them is to fan out 12V from splitting Point S307 which in turn, supplies 12V to pin H of the Driver side switch.
I would appreciate your help on this issue. Perhaps point me to the actual location (connectors and pins) for testing.
Thank you,
Brenda

Does the driver's control have a lock out such that only driver can play with windows? Many do in general so say kids don't play with windows. See if that's your only problem for now,

I don't see a transport in 99. Is this a US vehicle?

I didn't see one for US either. MX sold one called a Pontiac Trans Sport 97 to 99. IDK?

OK, they made one in 98 not 99. The connector is in the door pillar in front of the door but the problem is likely a broken wire at the hinge, between the door and the pillar.
The wire you're looking for is brown.

Hello all, Thanks for your prompt reply. In 1999, GM made the last Trans Sport and few months right after that they changed the name to Montana with single sliding door. So you can refer it as 1999 Pontiac Montana . There is no safety switch to prevent children fooling around with door window.
I am always suspecting a broken wire or bad contact in the connectors. There are two connectors involved C200 and C304 (to and from split S307). If anyone show me where I can find these two connectors, I should be able to go from there. Even a section of the harness diagram (or a picture to locate the connectors) would help a lots. How easy to access the hinge area to run another wire?
Thanks & regards,
Brenda

As I just told you, there is only one connector that effects that switch and that is C302 which is in the kick panel pillar as I already stated. The problem is going to be in the section between the door and the pillar.

Hello Hammer Time.
You are correct. A bad connection I found under the carpet area of front passenger feet, not far from the pillar. This connection has three brown wires which are joined together. All of them are broken due to bad corrosion (perhaps with salt and snow during winter months). After fixing this connection, all windows are working.
Thank you very much for your help.
Brenda.
