Headlight/turn signal Issue 2006 Mitsubishi Outlander Sign In

About 6 months ago I replaced my low beam headlight. It went out again. I bought a replacement bulb, but it doesn't work. Could this be a fuse issue? if so, does the Outlander have a fuse for each headlight?

Here's the second problem -- sometimes (not all the time!), when I put on my turn signal, my emergency flashers come on inside the car on the dash...however, on the outside, you only see the turn signal.

Thanks

There is a separate fuse for each headlamp. Would be nice to know if your having problems with the left or right low beam headlamp.

Not sure why the hazard indicators are coming on when your using the turn signals. The hazard switch is used to tell two ECUs (electronic control units), one in the column and another that is part of the fuse panel that the hazard switch is pressed. Someone is going to have to diagnose that problem when it is occurring while monitoring inputs to both those modules.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Thanks! I did check my manual this morning and saw there are separate fuses for each of the lights and the high and low beams and that was the problem -- low beam fuse was blown.

I'll work on the other issue. It doesn't seem to be causing any issues--as long as my turn signal is on outside, I can deal with the flashers on the dashboard!
