I have a 2002 GMC extended cab pickup truck, with a 4.6ltr engine. ALl of sudden the lights and horn started flashing like the panic button had been pressed on the key fob (it had not). Truck is parked outside and it was raining all day. Opening the door stopped the problem, but the electric locks did not work and then intermittently they came back on. When I parked the truck and locked the door, within a few minutes the horn and lights started flashing. I moved the truck into the garage and as long as I don't lock the doors the horn does not come back on. I could hear the door locks locking and unlocking by themselves after I got out of the truck. That eventually stopped. Any thoughts on what is going on?

Sounds like the alarm system is going off. Might have something to do with the rain and moisture. You'll probably need to take it to your mechanic, so they can plug in their scan tool and monitor door and handle switch inputs. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
