For the last two years the light showing what gear I am in has not worked. Then my truck's air conditioner would start blowing hot air intermittently on one side or the other. It has now added random messages like check 4 wheel drive (for a few days only). Occasionally the trailer light or the overdrive light will come on and the truck will down shift. And also occasionally the truck will not shift into the next gear when it should. I am assuming this is probably a ground issue, but not sure where to check. Any suggestions?

what year is this vehicle?
is there a remote starter?
scan for codes and post them ALL. Scan even if light is OFF.

It is a 2004. No remote starter. Can find out if any coeds. Try to get the tester tomorrow.

Never say never but I am. They only sold 5.7 engines to Mexico that I know of.


If it's for that market you may be screwed?


If that's a typo fine but if you really don't know why are you messing with it at all?


Not sure but you probably need a dealer for even codes for this.


IDK - sure smells like someone at some time messed with even fixing the sound system in this and messed it up?
