Car completely dead; I think it's an electrical problem? Sign In

I hadn't driven my 150k+ mile car in about a week, this morning I went to my car and tried to unlock it, it didn't unlock so I figured my remote was just broken and unlocked the car manually. I got in the car and tried to turn the car on but literally nothing would start, there was no clicking or turn over sound like it was even trying, no radio either, nothing. I couldn't pop my trunk or anything, nothing in the car worked whatsoever.
Worth noting:
* It is NOT the battery, I had the battery replaced a few months ago
* I had the alternator replaced 2 years ago.
What do you think the problem is? I'm not very mechanically inclined so I'm not able to do the testing myself.
Would the best option be to get someone to try to jump start me and then just drop it off at pepboys or Firestone??
Thank you!!

See if it can be jump started. Then have the charging and starting system checked out.

How are you so sure it's not the battery?

Ditto: If that battery is at ZERO both why and check it as it might not be any good at all now,
