You are always opening a can of worms when you try to build Frankenstein. There has never been a BMW 118d in the US so I have no idea what it is but I believe the D stands for diesel. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
