'99 dodge 5.9L magnum electric location

Hey, I've got a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9L V8 Magnum. I blew my heads and swapped the engine. I've got almost everything put back together, but I've run into a dilemma. I have all the electric in its correct location, except two wires. They're on the driver side towards the rear. The current electric I have connected is the fuel rail (4), intake (3), A/C (2). (Number of wires connected)
Please let me know what these wires go to.

Did you use the exact same year and engine for replacement?

Those are three wire connectors, so it is possible it connects to something like crank or cam sensors, or even TPS or MAP. The crank sensor is down on the transmission bellhousing, so look for the crank sensor's harness that may have fallen down. The cam sensor is inside the distributor and there is a harness that comes off the distributor also.
What color are the wires on each connector?

The gray one seems to have a red/white, a black, and a yellow.
The black one has a white, a black, and a red/white.

The black connector looks like violet/white, grey/black, black/light blue. If that is true, that plugs into the crank sensor. The engine will not run unless the crank sensor is plugged in. Still working on the grey connector.
You may need to clean the wires off or pull the conduit down, so you can get a clean view of the wire colors. Sometimes the wire colors fade were they are exposed.

THANK YOU, now to try to get this baby to turn. I'm gonna see if anything happens now when I turn the key, and then I will work on exposing the wires on the gray harness.

If that is the crank sensor connector and you get the engine running, it is possible the check engine light may come on. The code(s) that are stored, if any, may give you a clue to what the grey connector goes to. That is if it has anything to do with the engine management system.

I still haven't gotten to putting on the belt, tightening the fan, or adding fluid, so I'm just checking for a slight turn.
I do get something though when I give power to the truck. My mileage comes up, but then it says "no bus".

So you can't even get the engine to crank with the starter? No bus displayed in the odo display means the computer inside the instrument cluster can't communicate on the data bus to the body control module.
The data bus is what is used by all the computers in the vehicle, so they can talk to each other. Do you have a code reader? If so, can you scan for trouble codes using your reader. If there is a problem, the reader won't be able to communicate with the engine computer.
Even though it has a no bus displayed, the starter should still be able to crank the engine.

I don't believe you have the ability to crank with the starter on Dodge. I know you can do it on Ford and Chevy.
And sadly, I do not have a code reader of any sort.
When I connected the crank harness, I turned the engine at the ignition but now it won't do it again. My battery has been on a charge for the past 24 hours, so I have no clue what is going on here. I even cranked the battery charger up to 30 amps and let it sit for half an hour, it still won't react at all.
I don't know, should I disconnect the crank harness and reconnect it, or is that a dumb question?

I reconnected the crank harness and got another crank from turning the key.
