I have a 94 Cavalier, 2.2, 4 vin code. When I hit either left or right turn signal neither the indicator lights nor the blinkers themselves come on. I have replaced both turn signal and hazard flashers and the turn signal switch. All the bulbs are good and all the fuses are good. My brake lights, headlights, reverse lights, and hazards all work. I am completely lost as to where to go from here.

With the ignition on, do you have power at both the blue and purple wires at the turn signal flasher? (All these tests should be done with a test light including the fuses. A fuse can look ok but still be burnt.) If only at the blue defective flasher; if no power recheck 15 amp fuse; if fuse ok, check for open in blue wire between fuse panel and flasher unit. If you have power at both wires at flasher go to signal switch and recheck purple wire for power if no power, check for open in purple wire between flasher and switch. If power at purple, test for power at Lt blue, DK green (left turn), DR green, DR blue (right turn) (Note this is a different DR blue then at flasher) If no power at these wires replace switch. The wiring from the switch to the rear must be ok because the brake and hazards work. So I’m thinking it must be something from and including the switch back to the fuse panel. Dan. Canadian "EH"
