Local mechanic says the ABS spring needs to be replaced and it will cost about $230 to do this. I am not familiar with replacing this spring. Does this seem like the correct solution for fixing the horn? Also is this something that is rather simple and could be repaired by a novice mechanic, such as myself? Are you sure you wouldn't rather spend the $230? You could check to see it 12V gets to your horn and they aren't that much money to replace. Usually an easy do it yourself job.
