can someone please helpme?my lumina's park and speedo backlights blow the tail light fuse in the glove box as soon as you turn on the lights(or prk lts).i have checked the fuse connection at box for corrosion,also connection at plugs to the light switch,have checked all lights for moistuer or water,relays and fuses undr dash and hood for burnd contacts,have checked wiring under hood,under dash,down pass side to all rear lights,all bulbs and sockets,have also checked head light switch(except dimmer)all contacts are good in switch,dimmer was hard to check(many pins,variable switch)everything ive mentioned seems good,could the problem be in the speedo or dimmer switch?have i overlooked something?someone please help!thanx.

what is a speedo light? your fuse pop because your power is not going to the light, instead it is going directly to ground therefore it pop the fuse, nothing is taking those current away. in other word, current is bypassing your light, look for a short to ground somewhere in that specific circuit.
