1988 chevy k-1500 pick-up. i have 2 melted wires going to my dimmer switch. the only way to turn on my dash lights/tail lights is to touch them together, but as long as they are connected i can not turn the dash/tail lights off. it does not matter what position the switch is in. what can i do?
