88' Dodge Ram 150 318=no spark

I recently rebuilt an 88 dodge pick up and when I tried starting it, I found I had no spark. I then tested and found I was not getting any voltage to the ignition coil. I was told that it could be the ECM but I do not want to go and replace that and find that it was not the problem. Everyting else works(starter, headlights, even the windshield wipers) so any help is great.
