86 GMC Suburban headlight/tail light issues...

Alrighty two questions, i got an 86 GMC Suburban, on the right side the headlights work fine and the tail light works fine, flashes fine signal-wise and lights up fine idle-wise except for whatever reason when you brake it doesnt light up, and i just replaced the bulbs, the left side however the headlights are much dimmer and the high beam doesnt quite work, and as far as the tail light goes, well, it doesnt turn on at all, no brake light, reverse light or turn signal. Didnt get around to checking all the fuses yet, but something tells me its more than that anyway, so whats up??. Next question, turn signals in front, left one is really dim when all lights are on ( headlights, tail lights etc..) the other side doesnt turn on at all, but will flash when made to do so...i know only a little about vehicles, so if anyone replies, which i sincerely hope someone does, i would appreciate simplicity..thanks a ( 3/4 ) ton!
Hmmm...I wonder what this does...
