86 Chrysler New Yorker with heater and dash problems

Hi,
I'm looking for advice on the heater control and the electronic dash of a 1986 New Yorker I'm fixing. It's in beautiful shape but the heater is not working and the fan comes on only when the voltage is low. The dash instrument panel comes on sometimes but not always. Where might I find a wiring diagram or has anyone solved these problems?
It's a 2.2 turbo and has 110k kilometers.
My mechanic has had the heater control unit out and can't see any loose ends or cracks.
