84 Honda Accord Brakelight Problem	Sign In

I have an 84 Honda Accord. All of a sudden my brake lights started staying on even when my car is off or my foot is not on the brake. My tail lights wont come on either. I checked the fuses and they are fine. Any ideas?

Check the brake light switch. (It's on the brake pedal) It may need an adjustment.

I had that same problem with my 90 Accord it totally stumped me. The we checked the brake light switch on the pedal and definately, that was our problem. I think the nut is a 17mm.
