please help!!! sent truck to dealer to have them replace cigarette lighter plugs. don't know if they are wired into my trailer light plug but ever since then, "and it might be coincidence" but my brake lights are staying on. I know it is not my trailer because I have hooked other trucks up to them. When I wire in my plug, I have three wires that are staying hot. any help will be greatly appreciated. Just wanted to know if they could have crossed some wires or something.
thanks

If it wasn't happening before you took it to the dealer it seems they obviously did something to cause it. I'd call them and setup an appointment so they can fix it correctly. You paid for the work and they are obligated to fix it if their repair caused the issue.

Just for future reference you don't have to post the same question in every single category. It just wastes everyone's time. That time could be spent answering other questions. It won't get you an answer any faster. Heck, it may even prevent some of them from helping at all. All of the mechanics on here constantly check every category. Just pick the best section that you think your question belongs in and post it there. If you accidently post in the wrong category one of the mods will move it to its proper location.
