2007 jeep liberty window

i have a 2007 v6 3.7l 80,000 miles jeep liberty. My drivers side window is having trouble rolling back up. Rolls down fine but when you roll it back up seems like the window shifts forward a little but but half way up it fixes itself. I talked to a mechanic and he said its the regulator. I went to Ziebart to get my windows tinted and the guy there said he could fix it there because its the actulator (sp). i have never heard of that but i have heard of regulator. Ziebart says the guy is trying to rip me off but i dont know if i can trust a Ziebart guy since hes not a mechanic. So if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it

I don't think I would have a window tinting company do repair work on your vehicle. Have you mechanic check it out. He/she should be able to remove the door panel and confirm what is going wrong.
Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
