I posted both issues into to the subject line, as it appears that they are connected. Just installed an aftermarket double din stereo for my 2000 Grand Prix Supercharged. Used a wire harness. No cutting. No splicing. Everything working great for a day or 2. Afterwards i noticed both my rear speakers and the the dic would cut on and off at random. Now, no display on the dic (lights and buttons work fine, tho). And the new stereo doesn't power on at all. I even reinstalled the stock radio, and although it illuminates, it's not working at all, and no display (no time, radio, or cd info). Any help please. Thanks

well this is a little late but for others - Think three times before changing audio systems. Of course the install is the issue - finding out what will require a scanner to look at all codes and modules, a examination of the install, wires connectors etc.. All I can suggest not knowing tools and skill set - fuses, and the connectors you used- tight, no bent 'pins' etc.
