Year of vehicle <-- 1999? Make of vehicle (Ford) Model of vehicle (Lynx Ghia) Engine size (OOps I forgot) My car is just sitting in the garage for almost a year and suddenly I was shocked when I open the hood. I found this part wrecked by some rats. here is the image. http://i.imgur.com/74c8wOp.jpg Can I repair those without requiring a special tools? just a replacement? And I tried to start the car and noticed sparks and immediately turned it off. Thank you so much! :)

Don't have that vehicle here in the states, but it appears to be a spark plug wire that the rodents have had a feast with. Grab a new set at the parts store and put them in. They just pull off and push on.

Spark plug wires. You really should consider finding your little friend that ate all those wires up or else you'll be having a lot of other electrical problems. You should tape up those small wires in that half eaten harness using some silicone electrical tape. Don't use vinyl tape. It can't stand underhood temps too well. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
