1999 Cadillac, Bypassing power window switch ?

|
So recently my passenger window is able to roll down but not back up. Assuming the switch just shorted.
Was wondering if there is a way to bypass the switch to bring the window back up ?, I normally wouldn't do this but its going to be raining most of the week and my new switch wont be here for a few days.

That wild assumption could backfire on you if you didn't do any testing.

It's a Deville.
Also went with this assumption considering most of the winter time snow would get into the "switch" and that's when the passenger window would start to malfunction and not come up unless you fiddled with the switch.(just went with what i thought would be the problem)

To get the window up, run two jumpers as in the picture. MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG THE SWITCH WHEN YOU DO THIS OR YOU"LL FRY THE SWITCH. The ignition has to be on also.
