It didn't blow but kind of came apart. It is a Littelfuse mega 175 amp! Seems kinda big to me and I can't find anywhere what the value of this fuse should be. I can't find that big a one at any of the local auto parts stores, so it makes me wonder if someone got carried away and put one in too big. Does anyone know what the size of this fuse should be? My 2001 escort is only 100 amp! Yes it does show a 175 amp mega fuse. It is a tap off of all of the maxi fuses and it taps the battery cable to the alternator. My best guess to get a replacement fuse would be a Ford Dealer. Go to www.fleet.ford.com and click on maintenance, the owners manuals, enter info, then go to roadside emergencies and scroll to you see fuses. Good luck.
