1996

Hi i just bought a 1996 honda accord EX, and my front turn signals arnt working.. they are mounted below the headlights, in the bumper. When I took the assembly out of the bumper I noticed the bulb housing is no longer there, and the wires that hook the lights up have been cut back about 3 inches. My problem is that replacement turn signal assemblies come with bulbs and bulb housings (just what I need) but they normally connect to the car with a plug. My car just has wires running down no plug on the end to hook it up.. So my question is, how can I hook these new turn signal assemblies up when all I have is wires? I looked for a while to find the proper plug with a pigtail so I can hook it up right, but I havent had any luck. Here is a link to the replacement turn signal assemblies, so you can see what type of connector/plug it uses.

Thanks any help will be of great appreciation.

You need to read the FORUM RULES before posting. Links are not allowed except to your own pictures or videos.

Those pictures were really no help anyway. They were too small to make out anything even after enlarging.

You could find another Accord in the salvage yard and cut the turn signal connectors on the harness side off and then splice that to yours. Solder and heat shrink or use good quality environmentally sealed crimp connectors.

I couldn't see much but it looked like the socket may have been in place with holes in the back for terminals to be inserted. If that is the case, you may be able to just remove them and use your old sockets.

Looks like the back of the socket has a female side of a connector. Can see the key way.

Sorry for my error on posting the link, that wont happen again.

but as for the plug, I noticed there is also another style they sell online that come with the whole replacement assembly, and earlier today I changed the bulbs in the running lights and it might have had the same female plug. just the bulb housing was different because it's a smaller bulb.. so now I'm thinking that it might be a universal connecter. but I went to a carquest and the guy couldnt find anything for it.

I was going to take it to a shop to have the brakes done and a smog so maybe ill just have them try and fix.
