Recently, the battery went dead on the car. After charging, it was found that the courtesy lights, cigarette lighter, power locks, and power mirrors do not function. The courtesy fuse (15A) was blown. I replaced it, and it was instantly blown again. Does anyone have any ideas of where to begin looking for a short? Thank you for your help.

Can't explain the lighter as that should be a separate circuit?? The common denominator for the rest could be a shorted wire usually found in the rubber snorkel of the driver's door jam. They have to bend there all the time and at some point some of them can break -- almost always in the most used door. Just a thought, T
