1990 Nissan D21 headlamp problem. Sign In

Having a problem with my driver's side headlight all three terminals light up when testing with one of those bulb circuit testers. The passenger show only one terminal lit up. The tutorial says to check the main wiring loom and plug but doesn't go anywhere from there. I followed the wire back to where it goes into the frame and there's a little plug that wires go to and then go back I to the loom connected in this plug. It says 2w on it. Is this a fuse. If all three terminals light up could it poasibly be because of this box.

I have a 1990 Nissan d21

Thanks

I assume you tested that while the light was plugged in. You seem to be missing the ground. Check all your ground wires around the radiator support.

Yea tested with the light in. Would the ground wire around the radiator be connected to the headlamp ground? Or are you talking about separate wires?

It's the black wire from the headlamp.
Here's where it goes ............ Ground M273: Main Harness, Below RH Side Of Instrument Panel, At Kick Panel.

If you can't find the broken or missing wire, you can always run a new one to ground from the black wire.
