1990 Cadillac Allante Can't Post

I am restoring a `1990 Cadillac Allante. I recently had the old 104k mile motor replaced with a 55k mile 1992 motor. Prior to the engine change, all electrical systems worked. After the newer motor was installed, I lost several electrical systems, such as the instrument cluster the DIC, interior lighting, left and right signalling, headlights, rear lights, and brake lights. All other electrical functions work, such as windows, radio, antenna, motor runs, etc. It seems the emergency LH lights work if I press the headlight button, but, that's it. I noticed the connector to the distrbutor was a little different than the original. Is there any connection difference in the (2) motors that would cause this behavior? Would a BCM or ECM cause this? I checked all fuses in the console, the right rear, and in the maxi-block and all are good. All fusible links are good. There is no burned wiring, no shorts in the wiring, I'm at wits end. Can you help?

Country: United States
Make: Cadillac
Model: Allante
Engine: 1990

Already Tried:
Checked all fuses, checked for opens or shorts in the wiring harness, checked solid state relays/breakers, all checked out good.

Go back and check all your work and make sure you didn't leave a ground or power wire disconnected somewhere.
