i have a 1997 grand am 2 door new battery , 2 12" JL'S. KENWOOD 740 AMP , took old deck out cuz i thought the deck might be bad subs cut n n out, put new deck n and it was woorking fine for a few days then subs cut out wont come back on amp was used use to push my 8 ohm 12s till i blew one why would this happen , also switched out deck from one old sony to new on light is still on on the amp

Does the amp say on when this happends? Is there a protection light that comes on?

Check your ground. If your subs are hitting hard at all vibrating things in your vehicle their is a good possibility that you don't have a good ground. Check that. Get a good thick ground wire and put it to your seat bolt to see. Could also be where you had your subs wired in. Check the connections in your sub box. Seeing as how most boxes have a red and black post on the inside of where your speakers are hooked up at on the inside of the box.
