no FM reception on BMW BAVARIA RDS car radio

No reception on the radio tuner. Only static when aerial is connected. No fault with aerial or wire of the c ar. The tape player also problem. Dual playback on cassette. Side A sound with Side B sound in reverse. Anyone with an idea what to look for? Thanks.
